iirc there's a small rivet type securing pin which once removed the barrel can then be twisted and removed.

Can anyone confirm this, i want to be able to put a blank door handle on the passenger and used the lock in the drivers as someone tried to jam a srewdriver in mine and looks gash

Yeah tried this yesterday and it worked. Where it twists into the backing plate there is a pin. I just got a nail and hammered it through. Then dismantled the whole locking barrel and couldn't remember where the bits went.

Yep, there is a small rivet that needs knocking out, then it pretty much all twists and falls apart

thanks lads i shall be pissing around with it at the weekend, trip to the scrappy for a delocked handle me thinks
