Bought a new battery for my key (corsa b) as it has a light on it... swapped the batteries over and the light still dont work... what do people think...? Bulb?
Also my gf has a fiesta P REG (mk4) and has a keyfob for her alarm... we got new batteries for this but the thing just dont work... no light on the key... any ideas? Do you have to activate the key in some way? Program it? etc?

The batteries have to be the exact same one and type even the slightest difference can lead to it not working

As for the fiesta keyfob, my dad once changed the batery on a rover 214 and it needed a code put in which consisted of a number of presses of the buttons on it.
Phone Ford and they'll no doubt be able to shine some light.
