Hi, got a trackday coming up soon in the corsa XE, currently running a standard 2.0 16v setup. Im not sure if they'll be up the job tho, anyone recommend any pads or discs??

The calipers are fine. You want a better grade pad for deffo and maybe discs

Standard size and calipers would be fine. If anything it is the pads which are the problem.
Normal road pads are designed to last for 30k miles and work from cold, so therefore are hard and have a low coefficient of friction. Performance pads like ferodo 4003 are softer and have a high coefficeint so will make your brakes feel alot better.
I would rather lose by a mile because i built my own car, than win by an inch because someone else built it for me.

As in a standard Sport setup? On an XE?! EDIT: Or do you mean the 2.0 16v setup? Would make more sense thinking about it
Gotta agree with Warren, V6's/turbo's (think the turbo ones have a smaller piston size, so the corsa MC can handle them better?). I've got them on mine with Mintex pads and they've never not been able to stop me when I've wanted to stop.
