how the hell do i get to the lower inlet mainlod bolts? ive got the top row off just can't get to the bottom row?

Just keep trying I think mate. Jack the car up and try coming in from below.
A universal/ knuckle joint on a socket extension with a ratchet would help as well if you don't alredy have one:



I had many a scraped hand and knuckle doing the very same thing, only with an XE. Limited space didn't exactly make it any easier.

Well if you've got a socket set you'll be able to get one of those from B&Q or something for a couple of quid. Save you fucking about needing to fit a new HG.

hes fitting throttle bodies.

when we do it, take the big black throttle pipe out and then you can get to all the bolts easy mate
