I know they will vary from person to person / house to house etc.
Just wondering what sort of monthly outgoings people are spending!
Water
Electric
Gas
Council Tax
TV Licence
Home Insurance
Phone
Internet
Food
Budgeting around £500 p/m is that enough or will I require more?
Just running figures through my head!

My understanding is that you have to have one if you have any equipment in the house which is capable of receiving TV signals.

You require one for a sky box yes. The advert that was on the radio suggested you need one for a laptop but I don't see how they can possibly prove that unless they either catch you in the act or start matching IP's with addresses, which isn't practical.
