right then...


as you can see iv'e got a smoothed boot and the recss is in the bumper, but i havnt got a light and iv'e got the MOT cummin up. Wot wud be the best way to sort it out.

get a tricky MOT or go to scrap yard and get one off another car and dril and cut a hole.

On my recess as there was enough space we fitted an Astra Mk 2 van light which was about the right shape and size.

the bodyshop should have left a space for the light to slot into , we generally leave space on vauxhalls for 1 mk3 astra light

Mine passed with no number plate light, Dunno whats up with it though. Ive tried new bulbs and checked all the fuses. Must be a lose wire somewhere.

u cud fit a small lite on either side of the number plate where the curve of the bumper is out further then the plate.like on a bmw.

someone, at my bodyshop had an idea,
and it actually gives a use to those shitty led windscreen washers,
just drill 2 holes in, and shove em on,

i got pulled today for avin my plate in my back window, whilst actuall on my way to get a new one.
so now i need to get an mot stamp to say iv changed it, which i have temporerily.
so what can i do with a standard rear bumper, now my boot's smoothed?

I use two sierra ones. Go to the local scrappy and see what you canfind best way - thats what I did. Surprised the bodyshop didn't sort it out for you TBH
