if you want them to take the engine out and re do it then it will be twice that i reckon

keep going on price garages will charge something like £50+vat an hour or something silly. then honing, skimming etc.
if wernt so far id offered to of done it, and i could of supplied all the parts needed too.

i dont think i would be happy DIY my engine as i wouldnt know were to start fitting my throttle bodies was a big job for me lol

the garage i usually take my car charge 40 inc vat an hout but they saidthat they dont do work like that any more as it takes up to much time

i wouldnt say that its a complete rebuild i would just like te piston ring changing,apr conrod bolts fitted,new qarter pump new metal tentioners new cam belt, sump cleaned, paint the bloxk and gear box and then all new gaskets and bolts got some cams that i will send away to get re-profiled so would need them fitting then all put to geather again lol

Depends what you're doing with the re-build, you're gonna need a head skim, overbore if you're replacing piston rings etc.

is it? i thought taking out the crank lightend and balacned,bearing replaced and the bores honed out and the black acid dipped so its nice and clean,head skimed new stem seals vales re lapped and ported and polished.
Or is it me just beeing very picky on what i would want done? lol

if wanted. get it couried up to me and i could do the build, headwork, lighten/balancing. then courier back or even drive down lol.
but what you have said is a full rebuild matey
