Have a problem laptop that when installing SP2 for Vista it hangs on 58%.
It hang for nearly 2 hours so have restarted laptop and SP2 Install as restarted from 0%
Is there a way to stop the SP2 install? starting in safe mode and disabling it in windows update? any ideas?

dont worry it was bullshitting me lol!
after reboot it had already installed and must have just been hanging on that progress screen for whatever reason.
windows update shows a succesful instance of an install.
