2nd vote! Got -60mm G-Max kit & no complaints, apart from when you hit the bumps stops & everything goes blurry!  Didnie realise that wiz u till u were passed earlier, trancin' it thinkin "I know that reg!" What happened to you arch?

I handed the wrong one to pava to get sprayed. that arch had no fixings on the back, so i bonded it on. HAD to move the car from Heathfield Rd to Mauchline Rd one night, didnt really have long eough to bond right, i was going to clamp it up again at Mauchline rd. Anyway, I was well over the limit, so Kerry moved it for me and managed to lose the bloody arch!!!! So i'm left with some nice white bonding sh1t over my arch. Need to get a hold of another arch for the present. Going in for a respray, including skirts, different bumpers (impaque me finks), spoiler etc... so i was basically wanting to wait until then instead of just getting one arch sprayed for now.

Would go for spax, i dont think g-max have much of a motorsport background, which is where all development is taken place, if you want to go low for handling.
If its just springs your on about then I doubt it makes much difference.

what ever you get make sure it's adjustable damping. i have spax fix rate kit and i hate it. to harsh on britains crappy roads. i'm after front and rear adjustables now.

G-max 40mm springs and dampers mate.....my corsa stuck to the roundabouts and tight corners like s**t to a blanket.
my next corsa im going for G max again
3 yr guarantee aswell!!

adjustable suspension are a waste of extra cash because once you have set them up you wont ever change them, you'll probably find you'll stick them on the softest setting too. lol.
Gmax are nice n cheap and with shocks n springs tend to go lower then there rated (http://www.sldl04908.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/nova.jpg <- that is 40mm kit!!!!)
handling wise you'll probably find there all gonna be very similiar for "fast road" use. which is what your gonna be using it for. TBH good tyres will help you stick to the road better then lowered suspension.
Comfort wise there all gonna be uncomfortable, it comes from lowering the car.
Ive had my Gmax on for 2 years now and there fine and arnt showing signs of wear. They are still nice n stiff. Stuck a 2ltr 16v in last august and the suspension only dropped a couple of mm if that.

I am biased towards GMAX since thats the only suspension I have had but it has served me well

I just dropped 60mm on SPAX VSX dampers and APEX springs FUKCIN AWESOME handling now no complaints about anythin. At first it was rubbing on the bump stops but took 10mm off an everything is running smooth now. Give CHRIS16V a U2U about sorting u out with suspension kits he sorted me out delivered straight from SPAX within 2 days

from what i have read on this post. i have come to this conclusion.
adjustables are a waste of money as like people have said u wont adjust them
and buy the sounds of it spax and gmax seam to be ok as people havnt complained about them. if u r on a tight budjet go for g max as its about £50 quid cheaper.
but in my opinion i am going to go for g max save £50 and get some moer mods

to be honest id rather have standard suspension than the spax i have. yeah they were wicked when first fitted but now every drain, pot hole or bump in the road means another bang clunk or jolt.
it gets repetitive after a while

lowered cars are mint but its the worst thing that u can do to a car as it put more strain on the car and buggers everything up.

When you say it buggers it all up, what do you mean by that??? What all gets buggered. And is their any way of minimalising this without saying a no to lowering it altogether ??? Cheers for the input ALL, most appreciated.

BASICLY WHEN U LOWER IT, THE CAMBER ANGLE OF THE WHEELES can change. this will result with more wear on the inside of the tyyres or outside. tracking can also be affected.
the above will result in your tyres not lasting as long.
also when u lowere the car, there can be more strain put on the body of the car and therefor u can get body flex.
this can be minimized by placing strut braces between the shock absorber coloums. u can also put anti rool bars on the car to minimize body rool and flex.
this means more money.
this all becomes more of a problem with the lowere u go.

Iv got adjustable Koni, i like the hard ride so mine are nice and tight! It all depends onm what u want from the kit depending on what u buy really!

yeah u can get kits that can sort it out but then this costs more money
but if u are willing to spend a fair bit of money u can minimize all the affects that lowering does.
how low do u want to lower your car, u do realize that lowereing will make the reide very bumpy and harsh..... but looks sweet
