Im due an upgrade and these are the 2 phones I was looking at, which one should I get?. I Wanted a Nokia n900 but orange are saying they dont do the N900.
My current tarriff is 200 mins and unlimited texts, which I pay £12.50 a month + £5 insurance, that was after a fair old stint on the phone to retentions, the handset was a N95 8GB. Now with the Iphone they said it would be £35 a month and £87 upgrade fee, and similar for the N97.
Can I get better deals elsewhere? I tried to barter with the guy on the phone but he said they couldnt do any less than £35 a month on the iphone. Any advice? i have 89 days left of my contract, so 3 months, but they allow you to upgrade early and start a new contract.

I had no success in getting them to do a deal on the iphone or the iphone tariff.

They like to play hardball with the iphone thats all I will say. Did you get any iphone in the end?, the tarrifs online all seem to be about the same, so might just have to bite the bullet.

Yeah got a white 16GB 3GS on the £34 a month tariff. Really nice bit of kit. Just works and is easy to use.

compnaues have little room to manouvre with the Iphone as apple set a lot with the pricing etc, however vodaphone could smash that deal with the n97

n97 mini is out soon but still does not have a patch on the iphone.
