is it a case of making a braket with a crank in it or can i use a piece of flat steel?

although i will add it just looks plain stupid having the bonnet raised. and really if you need to do it for a genuine reason fair play, otherwise people generally ridicule it i have discovered.

this is what i did to raise the bonnet. and yes, its rough as it took about 5 mins.

i really dont like it, but it does serve a purpose for me. hope that helps.
