no you cant make it work. only older ps3's support ps2 games.

Yep, it's only the 60gig that can play them. Surely you got a game with it for the PS3?

PS1 games are fine, only 60GB ones that they made years ago and some 20GB ones could play PS2 games.
It's utterly stupid how they don't make it play PS2 games, people like us who's had the 2 for ages want to get rid of the old console and replace it with the new one, not have to have two taking up space.

exactly. typical sony kick in the balls as usual. pathetic really. i think its because the ps3 is more of a dvdplayer than a games machine. they expect people to watch films rather than play games.

Or you can just use a £10 Wireless Bridge. Hardly going to creak the bank
Agree'd that it should be a standard feature though! Its a pay off between keeping the cost down though I guess.
