Thats what the diagonostics is throwing up when its plugged it, seems to 'limit' at 3k rpm..

Any thoughts guys?

sounds more like crank sensor mate, mine was doing that but without the warning light

stupid question but i have a c20let and mine said the incorrect rmp signal... was used to boost fine now this has come up and it just dont want to rev... could it be my crank sensor ?

Id say its crank sensor too. Maybe try cleaning it and making sure the connection is good.

Although with the engine off XE's usualy show crank sensor fault anyway.

mines a let mate... eml comes on now n then i flaw it and it goes to rev up then hits a limit at like 4000rpm

silly question but do c20let have crank sensors ? and mines the early type and looked under car near bottom pully and couldnt see nething ???

All xe let xev ect ect have crank senser's

Most are just bellow the engine mount.

see where the thermostat is. its a bit below there on that side of the engine.

Its further down than that Bellow the engine mount. Its black. There will be a 3 pin plug near your air filter. Wind that and follow the wires down.
