Hi
Are there any known faults with these?
i have the chunky one, and its tempermental stand by light is on but just wont turn on..
the other day my intertnet frose while playing online world at war , the game froze and was beeping, so i turned it off from the wall and re-turned it back on, but doesnt want to come on
am im bored stiff !!!

It flashes yellow sometimes, i think my brother was turned over when he got it of the net..
but i told him this, but he didnt listen

Flashing yellow isn't a problem as that could be just the harddrive reading.

basically its overheated and melted a chip or something.Search google for yellow light on ps3 and youll see its a warrantee job or if out of ticket then £120 to get it replaced with a recon unit.

yeah lead free solder has melted and knacked the ps3 - if in warrenty get a dorrstep replacment, if not bed over. However mine was replaced 6 months out of warrenty, hope you didnt have a game in it, it took 10 weeks for Sony to get another coipy to us with a phone call each week
