my c20xe corsa has started to jerk/ try to cut out, a lot around lowish revs. but then it will go a day being fine! the idle seems to be do what it wants. it goes up and then down and then cuts out , but if you floor it, it doesnt jerk or anything! but does when you slow down to see if it has stopped being a pain in the ass its the jerking which is really strange and annoying!
any suggestions??
been told maybe afm? the wiring has been sorted before on the wiring plug etc!

EXACT same thing's happening to me. I fried my alternator and most of the time when it happens is when there's hardly any charge in the battery, getting a new alty at the weekend so I'll see if that helps. When it jerks does it back fire as if it's holding pressure in the inlet?
Stick a voltmeter across your battery and check it's charging right as well.

If it's all at low revs then it could be the ICV.
