take it off?

Not diffcult to get off except if the studs/nuts have rusted on.

send 12volts to the fuel pump and have something to catch the fuel in in the engine bay.... The fuel pump feed is in the drivers kick panel... you dont need to power the whole car up (presuming you took the battery out when you took the engine out) just negative to chassis and positive to the fuel pump feed....
