I have a touch, headphones are pretty knackered, but im getting a iphone4 next tues, and thinking, hmmm, if the headphones are anything like the touch ones, they wont be up to much.

So, im thinking about getting some different ones, but do they have to be iphone specific, or can i use any?

And any reccomendations?

Looking on richer sounds, they have SENNHEISER CX300MKII's for 30quid, sound quite good?

If you get iPhone compatible ones you can change the song, change the volume, use them as hands free and some other stuff with them. Normal ones will work just fine though. The ones that come with the phone have the same buds that they've always had and are pretty crap.

Hmmm, thought that might be the case.

The ones you listed are amazingly good for the price. I have the CX500 I think and they were only £20

have Skullcandy ink'd earphones, cheaper at about £16 have no complaints with them, but no good if you are wanting headphones.

I have sennheiser cx300 mkII's and tbh I can't fault them, sound much better than the standard ipod crap, I had them for £20 I think of amazon a fair while ago, when they were £30 odd in HMV for the cx200
