Atm ive got the most chavvy backbox your eyes have ever seen , but it makes the exhaust sound really schweet when you give it some rev's, however im fed up of it now, and wanting to fit a rather nice 3" backbox i have, however when i put this on with my standard centre pipe, it sounds no different to standard

I really want to keep the cat so it passes its MOT every year, but what else can i do to make it louder/raspier? remove centre silencer? ( its a 1.4 8v Corsa B btw)

Remove the cat and middle box. U wouldn't be believe the difference

or just get a straight stainless steal center pipe,with no muffler boxxes on it

get a 4-2-1 manifold, mine sound raspy with 4-2-1 decat straight thru centre pipe and standard backbox

You could do the drilled air box mod, follow the guide on here, lots of small holes will give a raspier note
