The car in question is a Corsa XE.
Driving back to my flat with my girlfriend on Saturday, away to get ready for a night out. Ran fine no issues on start up but maybe about 4 miles out the road sitting at about 60ish eml comes on and car cuts out.
The engine turns over but does not fire. Checked leads there all fine. Coils ok.
I noticed one of the fuses was blown though. The fuse was for "KY 15k" or something of that description. (What does the "KY" represent? It blew a 15A fuse, i then stuck a 30A fuse in and it blew it aswell. At that point i stopped trying and waited to be towed as i wasn't too keen on setting the car on fire.
Help would be much apprieicated.

Whatever circuit that fuse was protecting you can bet is fucked now. Why on earth did you put a higher amp fuse in?
Have you paper clipped it yet? If not, look on top buzz for a guide.

A couple of the fuses blew the last time i had a few problems with it staying on without conking out. Thought it could of been the same issue here, 30A was only one i had handy at roadside and on blowing that one i relised something wasn't right.
Paperclip testing it tonight, any ideas or what might cause it to just cut out all of a sudden?
