the x16xe's can have either an F13 or an F15. the c16xe have F15.

f13 has close ratio, limits out at 102mph in 4th, the f15 has longer ratio, limits out 110mph in 4th. IMO i would have the f15

not necessarely,combat corsa, i think that all the gsi's had the F15, but its only some of the sports that have the F15. most have the F13. 8v corsa, you must have the f13 box, cause the F15 limits about 85 in 3rd.

Im yet to see a f13'ed 1.6. There all listed as having a F15 too. I know my 1.6 has a f15.
Its not just about the F13/F15, its about the final drive, which is just pot luck with vauxhall, they arent always what is said to be on that car, or even what is stamped on the box.
Also, both gearboxes have Close Ratio and Wide Ratio variants. Most corsa's will be CR though. Unless its had a box change.

naah im after a f15 box i think because i my car will be more for motorway journeys like because i dont like it 3and a half grand at 70mhp out of my f13 like i just and if i do put a lower box than a f13 what top speed will i have

i had a 1.8 big block with a f13 in it, topped out at 115mph but got there rather quick, and im in the process of doing my c16xe with a f13 box on so should have some fun with this engine and box

where would i find on the box to see if its a f13 or f15 because my car has had a smash and its had loads of second hand parts onit so i think its got a f13 box thats why like do i have to take the sai box off ??

i dont know where it says it but im pretty sure they come out of 1.2 8v and 1.0 12v
