Another question, I know it's probably been asked many times but an up to date topic would be good...

Monthly bills?!

Electric,
Gas,
Water,
Food,
Phone,
Council Tax,
Internet,
Sky,

Sure I've missed some obvious things too!

it's not. but it needs to be considered before you move so you can add everything up.

the whole package of brodband, phone and tv is a 'need' if you don't want to live in the stone age.

Broandband and phoneline yes, but most people live off mobiles now and having 300+ channels is nowhere near a need.

Bit hypocritical tbh.

Sure you buy your petrol from a big brand garage. Buy big named electric products. Have a known brand car. etc. etc.

This is what I was thinking but if you want proper broadband you only have two options - Virgin Broadband without a phone line (which is almost expensive as just taking out a package with them including phone), or you need a BT phone line to go with any other supplier.

Or you have mobile broadband which is expensive for the speed you get.

even freeview has too many channels for me, never watch most of em. Mobiles and saynoto0870.com keep me in touch with the world.
