Where is this located on the x14xe
Temp gauge is not working and i presume its this that is faulty can someone correct me if im wrong, and is there any way to test it?

Its on the thermostat housing on the right of the head. I dont think it controlls you temperature guage tho. There is a wire on the thermostat housing that has a spade connector on it. check thats still on.

Yeah that spade conector on mine isnt connected to anything, do you know where its supposed to go, and could you take a picture please

That will be why its not working then  It goes on a conector by/ on the thermostat housing. its a curcular piece of metal. If you run the car up to temp and just place the metal connector on the housing you should see the temp guage go up.
