Is it true you can delete stuff off a disk and rewrite new things too it if both stages are done on a windows 7 PC or did I make this up in my head?

Can't be arsed going to tesco to get new blank CD's

surely it has to be a cdrw disc? I'm no expert with windows 7 though so meh

Has to be a CDRW and has nothing to do with the operating system.
