Badgered my laptop with various viruses, got it all sorted but for some reason when I log in I have a blank black screen & I can't access anything. I'm able to get around it by doing Ctrl+Shift+Esc & typing EXPLORER in New Task
Problem is, I have to do this everytime & it should complete this task itself everytime on startup
I googled it & got very confused very quickly  Anyone know how to sort it out?

Try creating a new user in Windows (i.e. through Control Panel) and log in as that user.
If it loads up under your new user login, then your other user profile is corrupt and needs deleting (obviously copy across anything from your desktop/documents/music etc. folders to somewhere on your C: drive first)!
