Doesn't like Microsoft and/or Windows, only uses it if he has to - checking emails, windows compilers. I had to purchase him a new system to get him to upgrade from Win98 and it barely gets used. To be honest he's old and set in his way, back in his hay day programming was done by punching holes in cards, handing them to the machine technician and then waiting a day for the results

Problem with VM is that some of his compilers (cost £10-20k region) can only be run within dos and require hardware (no windows drivers), so it's a bit of a no go to be honest.

Wasn't it Windows 3.1 that made you put in all the disks out of order, just for fun?
