been looking at getting a htc, whats the diffrent between the htc desire hd and the mini?
are there good phones? dont want a iphone as i aint that fussed on them!

Desire is great phone, pretty much as good as the iphone. Not sure if by mini you mean just the normal desire?

thats windows not as good as android but still pretty decent
get the desire hd

The desire is a good benchmark for HTC, the desire HD is even bigger and better... so I'm sure you'll enjoy either way

The Desire is a little bigger in size (a few mm) but has more ram, a larger AMOLED higher resolution screen, camera flash, records 720p (using 2.2) and a few other bits and bobs.
Have a look on comparative mobile phone websites

its not amoled its superlcd screen
still very nice, got mine this morning

Are all desire's slcd now?
I knew they were bringing it in but didn't know if it was a complete replacement.
Older desires are all amoled.

er not sure about the normal desires all the HD are Slcd though
not to sure what the difference is tbh :L my mates normal desire looks about the same as my HD, mabye a tint bit more vibrant

Ahh right, thought it was the desire.
From the reviews I've seen there's not much in it, they just couldn't make the amoled screens quick enough.

The tech reviews still say that the Samsung Galaxy S Super AMOLED screen is better than the new Desire HD screen...
