Which ones are good? I always used Limewire but I just tried to open it as my Ipod is in need of an update and it wouldn't open.
Went onto the Limewire site to see if there was update and there was this message,
LimeWire is No Longer Available!
LimeWire is under a court-ordered injunction to stop distributing and supporting its file-sharing software. Downloading or sharing copyrighted content without authorization is illegal
What alternatives is there? Theres always the torrent sites but thats usually for albums, I like to download individual songs

Frostwire. Exactly the same as Lime, but you don't have to pay premium to get decent download speeds and no viruses.

Even if you want a single, just go on the torrent (the album), open it up in utorrent or whatever and select the particular song you want only.

Frost can be used a torrent client too iirc. Not used it in years though.
On the rare occasion I do bother I tend to use BitCommet and get torrents from the likes of isohunt.
