...that has a clear no parking sign infront of it, and people park there.
Can you legally give them a parking ticket / stick a massive VERY sticky sticker on their windscreen?

You could invoice them if you can prove they entered a contract.

Pretty much what Ian's said...
Best bet if you don't want them there is to prevent them from being able to park there in the 1st place. You may find some people fall for the "ticket" (invoice), but more and more people are becoming wise to these antics.
I park wherever the fuck I want to these days... even at work, I don't display my employee pass so if I park in someone elses spot, they don't know who to contact for a bollocking. Nowt they can do about it

Need to be registed somewhere to give out parking tickets as you need access to the DVLAs database for address to reg numbers

Get yourself a clamp.
You will need to put up signs to cover yourself to be OK to clamp someone. Note this option is only going to be viable for a bit longer as this whole process is being 'clampped' hehe down on.

Sure that's just a case of making the request to the DVLA. They release the information with legitimate purpose. Not sure you need to pre-approve.

You can issue them with a ticket. Then if they have half a brain cell they will tell you to piss off. Then you have the choice of taking them to court over £50 or realising you're wasting your time.
Removable bollard will solve the problem.

I've left notes a few times, one ended up on the floor which annoyed me more.
Just keep a tow rope in the car now.

I'd just stick a huge sticky sticker, but word it in a way that it doesnt have come back on you. "Resident Parking Only" not "Dont Park in my SPACE!!"

Is it illegal to say that clamping is in operation?
Might be worth saying "Resident Parking Only - Claming coming into operation"
It may be enough to deter them

By having enough power to overcome it. You don't need much to drag a car even if all four wheels are locked. Just think of driving off with your handbrake on, the car would move.
