Anyone "booked" an appointment at an Apple store before to have their phone looked at?
I'm going to get mine looked at as the silent switch stopped working about 3 months ago and the lock screen displays "charging not supported with this accessory" .....when nothings plugged into it...top stuff.
Anyway they likely to send it away to be fixed or just give me a replacement handset there and then?

Mine did the chargning not supported thing a bit ago, booked an appointment and they replaced it there and then.
the guy said they don't bothered fixing just replace them when under warranty.

There are pretty good at the apple store, not an iphone but i recently took my ipod there as it got dented and wouldn't work properly, they swapped it like for like even though that damage isn't covered under warranty!
