i have just had a full stainless fitted at ASCAR in sheff......i paid £355 for it and it is a minter dont get me wrong and i aint slating them neither but i have had the twin cannons fitted as a back box and only one of the cannons is getting coked up (going black) the other is completly silver and i have done about 1400k already with it, also the cannon on the left (the one that has gone black) gets hot and the other one seems to stay cold and when you cover your hand over the right one it is blowing out some warm gases but it also seems to be sucking cold air in also
what do you recon folks is it a fault with the box or is that just the way it is, cheers

take it back to them as it should be covered by warrenty mate, they will fix it, ive hered good things about them and im getting mine done soon by them

I had problems with Ascar - wanted a fairly quiet exhaust, but they made one up like a boom-box. Then quite a lot of the welds started cracking after just a few months. Applied some 'pressure' and got most of my money refunded. Would never go back.

your exhaust gases will always take the shortest route, so therefore unless the pipes are both the exact same length then it will always do to one particular side

how come i have never seen this type of thing before with one of the cannons silver and the other one black....or do other people suffer with this

the thing is that i want them to be black so they look hard......not all shiney and sparkly

but really im not that bothered because at the end of the day i can make the other cannon black by painting it etc i was just asking to see if anyone thought that it was faulty or not working properly, thanks chaps

what do you mean the same length.....mine is a 4" pipe , de cat and there is no back box just a twin cannon so how can one be longer then the other

like marv sed u wont get both sides giving off the same amount of gas, but both sides shus give off sum, give em a ringn see wot they say, as for painting one black, dont

hey up mike, hows things?
i went round the other day and spoke to Pete (sound bloke) he said that there was nothing they could do but when you have just spent £355 on a zorst you want all the cannons to look the same, the one that is sending most of the gas out is black and is lowly changing colour with the heat....the other one is still immaulate silver and the inside of the cannon is bright silver no coke on it at all.....and as you can imagine that looks a bit crap.....it was pete that suggested painting it

no mine aint like that, mine just goes down onw side but splits into 2 cannons instead of a back box, a bit like motorbike cannons

simple way to know is to look under the car and see if both pipes from the spilt to the end of each can are the same length, if they arent then the gases will take the shortest route

Those dual exits look mint.. do they do a straight fit for a corsa.. i know peco do em for a saxo..

it aint a dual exit like your thinkin mate its like a normal zorst down one side but instead of there being a back box there are like 2 motorbike cannons next to each other.....you must have seen them before
