My first console since my ps2 (got it when they first came out, sold it a year later).
Got the 320gb version from amazon with a few extras, waiting at the post office to collect at 1345 today
Will have Need for speed to play on until my copy of GT5 gets delivered next week. Also got hdmi cable, extra controller, buzz music quiz & move starter pack.
What should i be buying? Extras & games wise?
Will be going in the back room with the 50" screen & surround sound Will eventually put the surround sound into the front room as its one of those one box systems, blu ray player & speakers, and get dedicated amp & decent speakers to turn back room into a music / gaming room.

The Official Sony Blu-ray remote is worth getting, makes it just like a normal DVD/Blu-ray player.

You can download an app for the iPhone that turns your iPhone in to a PS3 remote too
And the PS3 headset is good too

That's all I've got, after that just get some more games & blu-rays

Will look into wheels, any good ones out there? Seem one that was built into a chair which looked amazing, but a bit pricey.

I only got it cos its free and easier than using the normal PS3 gaming remote I use the proper blu-ray remote now so I would just buy that. The app is more of a gimmick

Depends how much you want to spend.
For £70-£100 you can get the Logitech DFGT, which i have and a few others on here.
If you want to spend more you can have a Logitech g25 or g27 (i know Chris and AK have the g25).
Ive got a wheelstandpro for mine, quite pricey for what they are though.

Do you get the pedals with it? Says dont get wheel, but nothing about pedals.
I recon a non reclining seat with a harness would be cool.
Might scour ebay for cheap bits and start a new project.

nah you just get the frame and the bucket seat ( the seat on mine is made by corbeau)
mine came with another bit down by the side of the seat that you attatch the gearstick too as the logitec g25s gearstick isnt attatched to the wheel.
