I have a netgear usb dongle for my PC, this morning I took it out because I need to insert my pendrive.
After I finished using my pendrive I put the netgear usb dongle back in and it wont work. windows wont even detect it, it doesnt come up in device manager
I have tried re-installing it, but that doesnt work
any suggestions?

Try device manager and see if there are any problems with your USBs
