Hi all,
I purchased a 1.5TD yesterday, its great except for the heater only blows cold air, has anyone got ideas on what it can be ?
The temperature gauge only goes upto under 90*c
Even leaving the car for 30 mins running the temperature doesnt move atall and still no warm heat
I think either the thermostat is stuck open
Or the matrix is blocked
Coolant level is full and doesnt go down atall
help appreciated

Take your stat out.
Get one of your mums bet pans.
Fill with cold water.
Throw in stat.
Turn the heat on.
If its knackered it wont move at all. If its not it will open up.

Will try this tomorrow, i left the car running again and took the header tank cap off, loads of bubbles came pouring out.
I let it run until the water was steady put the cap on and it went over 100 Degrees, altho the fan didnt kick in either so im thinking thermostat.
