something strange keeps happening, its not all the time its only now and again. i put my foot down to accelerate hard but the car will just stay at the revs and after a few seconds it accelerates. nd i could be driving along and when that happens the engine management light comes on. any ideas? help appreciated thanks

try a paperclip test depending on what car you have, it should tell you whats causing the eml to come on

Was the MAF sensor in the end... didnt realise they were so expensive tho!
