just been to a mate whos punto over heated,
he said he heard a bang,
coolant was low so topped it up, went for a drive gauge sat at half way, untillsat still
got back and it seems to be leaking when its warmed up,
- pipe to rad realy hot
- rad cold
- fan on
- leaking from hot side but not where the pipe is
- squeezing hot pipe doesnt displace water out of the filler cap where as cold pipe does
my theory is the rad was blocked and blew a hole lower down, hence him hearing a bang?
