My girlfriend and I used dailyinfo.co.uk and gumtree to find our flat. Couldn't be arsed with the letting agents fucking us so went straight to the landlords. I don't know Thame so don't know how common what you are after is but if you want a private garden I guess you will have to take a ground floor flat

Yeah, not sure mate. Have to be careful as well, if renting most contracts won't allow pets

Don't know what your budget is but for 2 bed flat prices you can probably get some small terrace houses?

Dear Mr Watts,
Because of the agreements our organisation works under within the
Oxfordshire area, we are generally unable to transfer our tenants unless
the situation is an emergency and we obtain consent from the council.
The main option open to you is therefore to try to obtain a mutual
exchange. This is done by logging onto this website:
http://www.homeswapper.co.uk/
A condition of becoming a member of the website is that we must confirm
that you are our tenant. Once you have made an application, Homeswapper
will contact us, and it may take a few days for us to verify. We will
also pay your initial registration fee.
Hopefully the site should be fairly self-explanatory; it is basically a
case of finding someone that would like to swap homes with you.
Another option is to speak to the council housing department, although
we would not expect them to treat you as a priority without additional
special circumstances.
I hope this helps. Feel free to give me a call if you would like to
discuss anything.

To be honest your getting a flat for fuck all. I'm sure someone else needs a 2 bed more than you.
Ungrateful.
