my phone screen broke last night but i had a sony ericsson c905 that i can use but isn't unlocked to all networks.
can i do this myself or do i need to take it to a shop? never done this before so wouldn't know who does it.

it's on t-mobile. when i put a sim card in it just says 'insert correct sim'. it's been like this for about 8 months now as the contract expired.
will they still be able to do it?
