Friend of mine got himself a HTC desire as a contract renewal.
It takes around 3 minutes to start up, and the camera doesnt work, just goes to a blank screen.
Tried a factory reset, still the same.
Warranty time?

does the phone reset itself sometimes when trying to use the camera? Sounds like problem I had. Took couple of weeks with HTC to sort

It does actually yes, think ill just get him to send it back, hes only had it a day haha

Shame, I hast had mine too long. If its only a day may be able to get shop to swap it there and then

The desire does take forever to turn on, but not 3 minutes so send it back

My android phone takes a good couple of mins to boot? Even when freshly formatted. Thought that was just the norm tbh.
