wanted to paint an engine block but then thought about how the paint would affect the heat transfer away from the block so is there a specific paint that is designed for this?
cheers

From personal experiance stay well clear of the hammerite spray paint, very spluttery aplication and doesent give a good covering.
Brush on hammerite overall will be cheaper an its all ive used in the past.

However there is always brake caliper paint which would be so called ''perfect for the job'' but i just find it over priced and still no better than hammerite
