just bought a corsa sport x16xe and it needs a switch for the fanwould i be right in saying that this switch is located on the left hand side of the rad on the slam panel?

As u look at the car, it's on the left, right down the bottom on the side of the rad.

can you get to it from the top of the car or do u have to get underneath?

I think u can get it from the top. Although removing the bumper will make it FAR easier.

same engine same problem pal, i just took the top two screws out the rad and lifted it carefully without disconecting any pipes. its easy enough to get to then
can i just ask how much did you get switch for and is it a gm part?
im going to change mine but i'm not sure if theres feed to it. i wired a bulb to earth from the wire and no joy. wateing for a multimeter

i got it from local factors,cheap cheap mate.struggling to find a spanner to go round it,what size is it do u know?

couldent tell you pal, havent botherd with mine yet, still waiting for new one to come
when the engines getting hot im just putting the heaters on full belt to cool it down
