got a problem with leaking fluid from the gearbox it isit the seals it basically the longer shaft where it goes into the box, you can push it in as far as it goes and it seals fine but unlike the shorter shaft it doesnt lock inside the gearbox you can still pull it out about a cm which is when the gearbox oil starts flowing out! any help?

Check the lock ring is on the CV joint, also does it still move if the hub nut is done up tight?

Yeah i agree with this dude... sounds like the lock ring on the inner cv has either bust or isnt there. It shouldnt move freely like that

im going to check the lock ring tommorow as it will keep its fluid for a few days and then suddenly drops most of it out! annoying. what hub nut? the outer cv one?
