going to be changing my alternator thinking while im doing it anyway is it better to use the sbd lightweight one as its soooo much smaller and lighter or will it not be good enough on a road car with air con and stereo as opposed to a track car?

they do a one with higher amps now which is sufficient enough for a road car just make sure you spec that when you order it.
Expensive for what it is though you could DIY a small alternator for a fraction of the "kit" price.
