Cut a long story short, Got my phone line in my Kitchen but ideally would like my Router in my front room for when my broadband comes, Aparntly somone said there is some sort of device you can plug you phoneline into 240v Plug or somthing and plug the other part of the device in the desired room where you want the outlet of the phoneline? Anyone shed any light?

Wireless signal should still be OK if the router is in the kitchen, if that's what you're worried about?

Home plugs is what you're thinking of, although I think they're for extending the network via ethernet/wifi as opposed to extending the phone line. Will achieve the same result tho. As Sam said tho, router wifi signal should reach round the house fine.

Ive never been a fan of wireless. Always found using ethanet cables to be so much more reliable and quicker. Its ok il just run ethanet cables behind skirtin etc,
You can get a wireless Phone jack connector. Simply by plugging one line into this device into a house socket and
puttin the other in desired place as an output. Transfers throgh your house electric/wireless...

It's not wireless if it's using your electrical wires to transmit. They don't work with ADSL anyway.

Steve this is slightly concerned me, but its not wireless as such - it works through your 240v socket..
