Just got done a quote for my car with the XE that I am putting in and got a quote of £1105 (all mods declared) which if I'm honest I am very pleased with!
I'm 19 with 2 years no claims and pass plus.
Does this sound like a reasonable quote to you and are Flux a decent company to go with?
Car is a Corsa B with a 20XE, recaro seats, softstars, 288mm brakes, colour coded bumpers and spoiler and a few other little bits here and there
EDIT: Is there any other companies that are worth a shot of beating these?
(I was honestly expecting the £1600-£2500 mark at my age with this car)

That's what I thought, was wondering about people that have been or are with them as that's only thing that could put me off that price!

Very good considering they wouldn't quote me under £3000 fully comp or £1700 tpf&t for my X16XE Corsa And i'm 20 with 2 years no claims

A couple of other companies that might give you some decent quotes are HIC and Brentacre

Cheers Shaun! Think I'll try them and if they can't beat it then I might have to take this one up

I find Flux have really dropped their prices recently
I was quoted £600 FC for my 2.0 Corsa, 25 with 0 years no claims, all mods declared!! I was expecting double that

Jesus christ! How have you managed to get a quote like that? They quoted me £1800 for my 1.4! and i'm 20 with 2 years no claims . I think i might do a 2.0 conversion if i find a new shell cos it'll be cheaper than the standard engine it seems . I really don't get insurance sometimes. I'm paying just over a grand at the minute on mine with Brentacre.

Different postcodes will have different ratings in the insurance companies eyes, Thats why there isnt a set price for somebody the same age, ncb and car etc.

Paul W that's quite a difference! Maybe you should think about a 2.0l

HIC is a sister company of Flux, I pay £380 on Smokey 20xe throttle bodies, willwoods, GAZ's, and the rest.
However I'm like 30 this year
