got a set of tigra lecky ones in at present but im only insured to do a certain ammount of miles and i think im going to go over, so got a another set off a mate but they cable driven...

is it hard/faff on to make them work if i can...

and

if i put them in obv the speedo wont work but will the revs and petrol etc..?

Insurance will most likely not even up your premium if you tell them your doing more miles. if they do, it will be a few quid.

and no u need electrical clocks as they have different plugs on the back iirc

im coverd to do 3k, currently done almost half and im only 3 month into it

and yeah it does make a difference,

3k = £602.89

5k = £738.89

didn't even look into more haha

They will only know if you crash.

But how will they know how much mileage is on the car when you take the policy out? You don't need to tell them the mileage the vehicle is currently on, you just tell them an estimate of how many miles you are going to be doing. So you could just say that the car was on X amount of mileage when you took out the policy...

If you crash they can look at your mot certificates and see if youve exceeded your limit. but i know your point

just take the fuse out for the clocks?? same fuse for reverse lights aswell..

not a bad idea but id still like to know how much juice, how many rev's and temp. not botherd about speed cos im a crazy bastard

Just un-plug the speedo from the gear box, it's only a plug.

You could use a sat nav for a speedo.
