Another car for me I have always like the astra VXR and getting to the age of cheaper insurance, wanting comfort and the looks..... I missed out on one as a trade in through work a couple of months ago and i was pissed to say the least....
But I'm really glad I didn't buy it now because i heard this was coming in a couple of weeks ago and without even seeing it i payed a deposit lmao
As soon as it come in i was glad i did, its not scratched (as i seen yet) no car park dents, always been kept in a garage, HPI clear No scratched wheels, still on original tyres (fronts getting low 3mm) full Vauxhall service history ( 4 stamps )
So on to the car:
A little picture to show the mileage first:
And some really crap pictures from last night
Not bad either....
I'm not the best at the spec on these but from what I can work out its got the 19's and cruise which are the only two options....
So all in all i'm over the moon, wanted one since release and now I couln't ask for a tidier one and it even smells like new inside.....
And yes it is really coming up to 5 years old with that mileage.... lmao

Well since buying "Vinnie" I haven't had much time on him with Monty taking all my time but here a few pictures I did get of the cleaning lol
Dirty
Up he goes
Wheels off
Harleys getting stuck in as always
After a good wash still haven't had time to clay and polish etc
The fun begins after PV where he gets some time

Have been enjoying Vinnie recently, now done 1,500 miles and I love him.....
Few new pictures
And on Friday I got him back from Thorney Motorsport, work done so far is Stage 2 remap, 3" turbo back TMS exhaust (just been released and first to be sold to a customer), Quaife LSD, Whiteline adjustable rear anti-roll bar... he made 276 @ flywheel (graph to follow)
Got Him back on friday just in time for TVL....
Parked up at Combe
Since Monty had broke the CV it would be rude to waste the last 2 sessions...
I can't described how shocked I was thr difference the Quaife and Whiteline made the car... Loved it
Both Home
Then later on it was off to London to catch up with some friends and do a few tunnels
More soon.....

Funny you say that, as he has just gone back to TMS for that with fast road wheel alignment and stage 3 map with front mount intercooler

Late update as ever...
Since last time Vinnie has been back to TMS and had Stage 3, FMIC, Eibach Pro Spring Kit and Wheel alignment.
Engine Bay shot, will be changing hoses to Black not keen on blue
Then went to a Piston Heads meet in Southampton...
After that it was time for some paintwork correction
A few reflection shots, still orange peel but the aim was to remove the swirls and light scratches
Beeding
Removed the Vaux, Astra and VXR badges from the rear and doors
Then I bought him a plate...
Then this weekend I took a visit to my friend Kev G and drove the EVO triangle and some nice roads around wales
On "Worlds End" Road Rainbow between valleys
Following Nigel P - 2.3 Saab Turbo engine
Action Shot
More Views
Couple of Vinne
Mine...
Kev's....
At Kev's
Drove passed and thought it would be rude not too...
Averaged 39.2mpg on the way to Kev's and the Final MPG of the weekend...
And the total Mileage of the weekend

Yer its alot better stage 2 it made 276 iirc and stage 3 it made 298 but that was the final run (no. 10) as TMS were testing it with the new exhaust but John gave me the lowest print to prove that thecar can make this power at even hot conditions with 27C room temp and 30C intake temps.... John said it made 310 a couple of times but i take this with a "pinch of salt" I will be putting it on Badger 5's RR where I get monty set up soon to compair figures... I'll upload graphs tomorrow
