Wow! Wow! Wow! What an EPIC weekend at Cars and Coffee.

This is an event which has been made famous for drawing quality and just plain unusual cars from all over the world which by themselves would be show highlights anywhere. This past weekend was no exception. John Hennesey himself drove to the show in a Venom GT, Local Motors showed off their Rally Fighter, and someone brought down a stunning Alfa-Romeo TZ. There was also had, a very rare on this side of the Atlantic, Ford Escort Cosworth.

Based on what is effectively a super stretched Lotus Exige, the other-worldly Hennesey Venom GT pumps out anywhere from 800-1200hp depending on how high the boost on the twin-turbo Corvette LS9 is turned up. This $950,00 monster has a theoretical top speed of 277mph and a mind boggling 0-200mph time of 15.9seconds! This is one of five which have been built so far, three of them are with customers and the fifth one is the silver development car which made its debut at Cars and Coffee a few months ago.

More info: Local Motors Rally Fighter

Now here are this weeks picks of the pics.

Not a Lotus. It is however, a Lotus Exige based Hennesey Venom GT.
