can it be done.
some turd has tryed gaining access to my facebook whilst ive been out and my security settings wouldnt let them in. flagged up when i tryed logging in and gave me an i.p address.
ive used what i can find with google but it's only vague telling me its somewhere in liverpool
heres the i.p address i got from fb

I had this once when I stayed at a hotel.
Turned out to be me trying to log in but Facebook flagged the IP as somewhere halfway up the country.

Yeah I wouldn't trust the generic trace on it, admin contact is Manchester but that could mean anything.
It's dynamic, hence needing the date stamp to narrow it down. There are a few examples of that subnet in the CS data but without the date, that would not reliably narrow it down.

its looking unlikely.. and unsuprisingly there are no contact email adresses on facebook.
will remeber to take a date stamp next time

well the conversation sort of went along the lines of;
Me: someone tryed getting onto my facebook and ive had to change my password
Her: how do you know someone was trying to get on?
Me: my security settings told me someone tryed to get access from an unknown device. gave me an i.p. address, so i googled it
Her: *shifty look* oh right
Me: yeah, turns out it was a talk talk service provider somewhere in the liverpool area
