A parts supplier I was dealing with said that he could fit a fuel boost valve for £85 to my car. He told me it would give better off the line acceleration then chipping the engine. He has fitted this to another car and said the driver had told him he really noticed the difference. I am debating weather to get it done.
Does anyone know anything about this?
Does it work?

All rubbish. Corsa fueling is good anyway and a PBV takes ages to setup, and only gians 1-2bhp. As the fuelings good, theres no need for them.
Save for a better mod!

Thanks. I was talking to a mate and he said that it would also put extra strain on the pistons and cylinders and increase engine ware.

all they do is raise the fuel pressure! this equates to fuck all improvements
if uve got a heaverly moded engine then they are worth it to supply the extra fuel, but on a standard or slightly moded engine they will do nothing
do a search for them on this web site, ull be amused

But then if u have a heavily modified engine, you would use a better part, not a PBV.
Really, its just another bolt on promo goodie. U dont need it, and when u do, theres better availble!
