i have a corsa b sri cam with has been reprofiled to fast road spec (i think) would it if in my astra g 1.6 8v spi?

Corsa engine 8v SRi is C14SE
Astra 1.6 8v SPI in a G is probably X16SZ?

I would guess if the bores are spaced the same then your only other issue is piston contact if the compression ratios are different, which I think they are. You'll know as soon as you fit it when you give the engine a turn although unless you're doing the belts anyway that might be an expensive afternoon for not much benefit.

i think i will give it a miss then,theres not point in risking it on a perfectly good engine just for little gain.

Cam belt is so easy on these, surely you can turn it by hand to check for contact.
